CANADIAN MOVIEGOING SNAPSHOT: 5 YEARS LATER Join the Movie Theatre Association of Canada and ERm Research for a one hour live webinar on Thursday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. ET Simultaneous French translation will be available for this presentation. Five years ago at ShowCanada 2015 in Quebec MTAC embarked on a first-of-its-kind Canada-only moviegoing study. We looked at habits, trends, preferences and the overall make-up of the country’s moviegoing audiences. Initially intended to be presented at ShowCanada 2020, a 5 year follow-up study to review how habits have shifted and to take a new look at today's modern moviegoer proceeded just prior to the COVID-19 shutdown. With the support of Telefilm Canada, ERm will present an overview of the results and discuss how this information might be considered as audiences return to theatres. |
