Announcing the 2025 CPP Awards

The Canadian Picture Pioneers Board of Directors is pleased to announce this year’s Pioneer of the Year and Silver Spotlight Award recipients.

Congratulations to our 2025 Pioneer of the Year, Raffaele Papalia, President of Les Cinémas Ciné Entreprise Inc. and Chair of the Movie Theatre Association of Canada; and to our Silver Spotlight Award winners: Brooks LeBoeuf, Senior Vice President of US Content, Regal; Gurbani Marwah, Vice President, Theatrical Releasing and Film Buying, Cineplex; and Sarah Timlick, Head of Theatrical Distribution, Canada, Amazon MGM Studios.

These exceptional individuals are recognized for their many contributions to the industry and our community. Celebrations will continue at the CPP Awards Dinner on Thursday, October 30 at the Delta Hotel in Toronto. More details to come.
