Events are hosted by the CPP to encourage Pioneers and industry members to come together throughout the year. Our events provide opportunities to network and connect with colleagues and friends from the industry.
Major Pioneer events include:
The National Branch, based in Toronto, hosts the organization’s Annual General Meeting each spring, where new Board Directors are elected, new members are welcomed, and organizational updates are shared.
In the fall, CPP hosts the highlight of the year with its Annual Awards Dinner, held in Toronto. This prestigious event brings together entertainment industry members from across Canada and the US to honour individuals making significant contributions to the industry and their communities.
Pioneering Women (PW) also holds special events and screenings in Toronto, bringing together industry professionals to network and support the organization’s charitable initiatives.
In addition, CPP Branches organize various social and fundraising events throughout the year, including Premiere Nights, Golf Tournaments, and Academy Awards events.
